I'm in Eureka Springs again, visiting my dad as I do every year.

It's been good, very therapeutic. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've been so angry recently. It seems to be better for the time being, though.

I'm taking a ton of photos so perhaps I'll post a few when I get back.

Also reading this really inspiring book.

Hope everyone has a great New Years!

I am remembering Islands. We're driving back from seeing "The Darjeeling Limited" and Parker's telling Shy to skip to track 2. Track two, "Don't Call me Whitney, Bobby":

"They sound like the Unicorns!" I say.
Amelia laughs. I find her very annoying.
"It kinda is," says Parker, "Well, same members, sort of, but different band."
After escaping a fine from a police officer who pulls us over, we pile out of the car and Kaleigh, Alan and Jack are out front smoking. Lots of yelling, and most of the group goes racing off down the street. I stand laughing with Shy, happy that his complete drunkenness didn't kill us. Well, that explains where he kept going during the movie.

I forget the happy things that happened in Boulder sometimes, but I have a lot of pretty memories that I shouldn't forget.

So far so good! I'm doing a lot better at OSU than I did at Naropa...probably because Naropa didn't approve of actually taking academic classes.

Anyway, I ended up with a B+ in sociology and an A in yoga, and the rest of my grades should be coming in soon...all done with everything. Cody and I are getting ready to meet his dad at Carrabba's because food is good. =)

The other evening, we went to the Short North to return some stuff to Urban Outfitters. I tried on some stuff, and ended up ordering this shirt and this one. Both very cute in person. =) The purple one is probably the cutest, because it fits so well and has a soft flannel feel and pretty, non-boring embroidery. Even though both shirts look terrible on UO's website...*shrug*

Hmm, anyway, I'm having a pretty good time of things, despite being depressed randomly and angry quite a bit, also apparently for no reason.

Anyway, hope you are all having a lovely day. =)

Almost done with classes for this semester!

Cody, his mom and I went to this Greek place in town we've been wanting to try. It was really good! Now we actually have someplace in town to eat. =) Half the place is a Mexican grocery store, which is kinda weird, but whatever. =)

Cody and I have been watching a ton of movies recently...let's see, we've recently watched:
12 Monkeys
Donnie Darko
Ed Wood
Brick
The Snowman (trust me, this movie is fucking awesome...my mom made me a copy for my birthday)
Edward Scissorhands
and we started watching "The Little Prince" but never finished it

So tonight we're probably going to watch "Benny and Joon," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" or something else...I dunno, we've been watching a lot of Johnny Depp movies. Did you know he's going to be the Mad Hatter in the new "Alice in Wonderland" film? Yeah. So fitting. =)
